GLASS WALL INSTALLATION

For New Jersey Offices and Commercial Spaces

The Problem We Solve

Need to Divide Your Office Without Shutting It Down?

Most offices in North Jersey need to add private rooms, conference spaces, or clean modern layouts, but they can't close operations for a week while construction happens.

We install commercial glass wall systems that solve exactly that. Our crews work around your schedule, anchor aluminum U-channels to the floor and ceiling, set the glass panels, and leave the site clean. Most jobs are done in one to two days.

Whether you're building out a new suite in Jersey City, adding a conference room in Hoboken, or dividing workspace in a Bergen County office park — we handle everything from the site visit to the final adjustment.

One thing we hear constantly: "We didn't realize how fast it would go." That's because we've been doing this since 1991, and we know how to work in active offices without creating a construction problem.

What We Install

Glass Wall Systems for North & Central NJ Offices

Every system is custom-built to your layout. We handle uneven floors, drop ceilings, and concrete anchoring — common challenges in older NJ office buildings.

Frameless Glass Partitions

Clean, modern look with no visible frame. We typically use 1/2" tempered glass anchored with aluminum U-channels at the floor and ceiling. Works well for spans up to about 10 feet without a top header. Popular in Jersey City and Hoboken offices that want a contemporary feel.

Framed Commercial Glass Systems

Aluminum-framed systems that allow longer spans and are better suited for larger office layouts or industrial spaces. More structural support means fewer limitations on height and width. A common choice for Bergen County office parks and multi-tenant commercial buildings.

Glass Conference Room Walls

Full conference room enclosures with glass walls and integrated doors. We install hydraulic hinges, patch fittings, and ladder pulls depending on the hardware spec. Glass options include clear tempered, frosted, or Starphire low-iron for a cleaner look.

Private Office Glass Enclosures

Single-office glass enclosures with doors, often using frosted or laminated glass for privacy. Laminated glass with perimeter seals also improves sound privacy — standard tempered glass alone does not soundproof a room. We'll walk you through the trade-offs before you decide.

Common Questions

Glass Wall Questions We Hear Every Week

Straight answers from the people who actually install these systems.

Do glass walls block sound?

Standard tempered glass does not fully soundproof a room. To improve privacy we recommend laminated glass with perimeter seals around the door. It won't be completely silent, but it significantly reduces conversation bleed. We'll walk you through the options before you commit.

How long does installation take?

Fabrication takes about two weeks — that's when the glass is cut, edges polished, hinge holes drilled, and tempered. Once the glass is ready, installation for a standard office layout typically runs one to two days. Larger multi-room buildouts may take three to five days.

What if my office floor is uneven?

This is one of the most common issues we see in older buildings in Jersey City, Hoboken, and Newark. We shim the base channel to level it before setting the glass. It adds a small amount of time but it's standard practice for us — not an extra charge.

What glass thickness do I need?

For most office partitions, 1/2" tempered glass is the standard. It stays rigid on spans up to about 10 feet without needing a top header. For taller spans or heavier-use doors, we move to 9/16" or add a framed system. We'll tell you exactly what's needed after the site visit.

Frameless or framed — which is better?

Frameless looks cleaner and works well in most office layouts. Framed systems make more sense for larger spans, industrial spaces, or where more structural support is needed. The right choice depends on your ceiling height, span width, and budget.

Do you work with general contractors?

Yes. We work directly with GCs, architects, office managers, and business owners. We provide detailed estimates with glass type, hardware specs, and timeline — everything a GC needs to coordinate with other trades. We're used to working within a larger buildout schedule.
